Boston University leased two floors at 540 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston to launch their new, online MBA program. The former tenant was a Kaplan Learning Center, which provided an outstanding footprint for KSID to utilize to meet the needs of the program’s office, meeting, conference and breakout spaces but the program also required the design of recording and sound studios and two control rooms. These specialized spaces involved significant collaboration with audio-visual, data, telecommunication and acoustical engineering specialists to ensure these environments were optimally designed for recording production. Additional requirements included a green room, a makeup station and changing rooms.
