A formerly dark and dated office suite was converted to a small reception area, administrative office and Dean’s office with conference area for the Dean to meet with faculty and students. The Dean wanted an open and airy feeling which we accomplished using light fabrics and finishes and lots of glass. We detailed a wall of millwork behind the Dean’s sit-to-stand desk to house her office equipment, change of clothes for events, files and awards. Her conference area has a matching AV cabinet and monitor surround, both in white oak to match the doors throughout. While the suite is small, it accommodates all of the Dean’s needs and is a timeless space.
